Talented individuals continue to shape and mold the world as we know it in the field of architecture. In the field of architecture, there is a distinct line drawn between pure talent and expertise due to the innovative designs and distinctive approaches they take to structures. One of those distinctive talents that stands out from the rest is Gloria Kloter. Through her company, Glow Architects, the award-winning architect oversees a team of equally skilled architects.

Gloria Kloter, AIA, NCARB, CODIA is a well-known architect and interior designer with offices in the Dominican Republic and the state of Florida. Gloria graduated from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo) with a Bachelor of Architecture. She possesses incomparable skills and knowledge in her field due to the fact that her alma mater is one of the most prestigious universities in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

After that, she attended the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, as well as the University of A Corua (Universidad de A Corua), where she earned her Master’s degree in architecture. Gloria Kloter has a significant advantage over the competition because she has worked in architecture and interior design for more than sixteen years.

Despite her success, she had a difficult upbringing due to the divorce of her parents when she was five years old. Gloria was raised by her mother and sister. She had to work since she started college to pay for her bills and tuition. She struggled for a while before moving to the United States and getting her license as an architect.

Gloria began her professional life in 2004 and started her own business in 2009. She started out working on projects for private commercial and residential clients in the Dominican Republic. She was given the chance to lead the design and development of the Steve Madden store in Santo Domingo’s Blue Mall. Her work on the project received a lot of press attention, which led to her being featured in Santo Domingo’s renowned architecture publication Arquitexto.

In the early stages of her career, Gloria Kloter was involved in other significant projects. When she first started out, she had the chance to design various residential projects, restaurants, and retail stores. She also designed displays and furniture for various projects. Gloria made the decision to relocate to the United States and obtain a license to practice law in Florida late in her career.

Gloria Kloter currently runs her own business, Glow Architects. The company is made up of highly dedicated designers who share her enthusiasm for architecture. Gloria explains, “We enlighten our clients’ design process with realistic visualization, effective communication, and genuine care.”

Glow Architects is owned by women, which demonstrates the determination of women to make their mark in the architectural field. The company is a shining example of empowerment for all female architects worldwide. Gloria Kloter, chief architect and CEO, aspires to inspire more women to stand up for themselves and live out the positive values of grit, hard work, and determination.

Gloria Kloter has received a lot of praise for the incredible contributions she has made to the architecture industry. She was honored with the AIA Tampa Bay 2020 Kelley Award for her work as a mentor to budding architects. She was also highlighted by the Women in Architecture committee in Tampa Bay in 2020, the AIA Florida Architect Journal, the AIA YAF Connection, and NCARB. She has been mentioned in prominent Dominican Republic publications like HOY, Listin Diario, and Diario Libre.

She exemplifies the power of dedication and perseverance. Gloria Kloter has always given everything she does her all. She hopes that her work and story will continue to have a positive impact on society in the near future. She was blessed with a child she adores with all her heart on June 15, 2020. My perspective on life and business, as well as the significance of achieving a balance between architecture and motherhood, has been profoundly altered by being an Archi-Mom and running an architectural firm simultaneously. We women are incredibly capable, powerful, and strong. Anything is possible if we put our minds to it. Gloria said. Gloria is a source of motivation not only for women architects but also for mothers and women everywhere.
